Art and Business combine for Creativity and Innovation in the XXI Century
MBA Gabriela Elizabeth Welsh Guajardo
Today, XXI Century executives search to reach competitiveness at their companies and are developing creativity and innovation through the practice of artistic activities. When the left and right side of the brain converge, better ideas arrive which can add value to clients doing this by the practice of creativity workshops. New solutions arrive as innovative products and services are born. Sucessful global brand executives like: American Express, Apple, AT&T, Chrysler, Coca-Cola, Dell, Kodak, Mattel y Nike, know that creativity and innovation are key elements to develop new ideas and to problem solving to strenghten teamwork and to create new market strategies.
Art is a media comunication, its a thought language and expression. Today, art is beeing used to develop executives creativity, something never seen before. Business executives are rational and logic becuase they use the left side of the brain to desision taking. This workshop is focued on developing the right side of the brain which means the intuition, the senses, and feeling which are key elements to create ideas. We all have creative skills, but we have to find and develop them. To more practice, the creative potential is increased.
Successful companies which are reinventing themselves continuously are creating value to their clients. This workshop is part of this challenge: how to create innovative products
with better quality, and more satisfied customers. Like is said by the Phd in art therapy from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Marián López and Noemí Martínez, creativity proposes always a new vision through which to seach other ways that can permit a solution for a problem or situation that we have.
At this workshops we use art tools like painting, sculpture and music with the main objetive to open new ways that can make a difference between innovative products and services, new idea generation, opportunity creation, teamwork, revitalize markets, creativity development to solve restrictions or limitations, communication and view problems as change opportunities and growth. Art & Business Workshops are offered at EGADE-ITESM and are also offered at Latinamerican, North America, Europe and Asia companies upon request.
